In the next window, you will see all spots. You can download with Spotnet by searching a title, sender, or tag. When you’re looking for music, software or movies, you will get an overview of all available corresponding spots. Start downloading and the software will do the rest. Spotnet will make sure your files are downloaded, repaired and extracted. Downloading with this software is very simple.
How to download with Spotnet? The most important settings
You now understand the basics, but are you planning on using the program more often? We then recommend to adjust the settings to your own liking. We will now focus on the download button, updating when starting the program and filters:
- Download button
By default, Spotnet will immediately start downloading when you click a spot. The software will first download the NZB file and will then start on the binaries. Would you like to just download the NZB file and finish your download with another program? If so, you can change the settings: click ‘edit’ near the download button to choose how you want to adjust your settings.
- Updating when starting
Spotnet will always start downloading all new spots and reactions when starting the software, making sure you’re always updated. Does that take too long or don’t you deem it necessary? Change the settings at ‘edit’ -> ‘settings’. Deselect the ‘updating when starting’ box. Keep in mind that you now need to download new spots yourself when you want to download a file.
Spotnet gives you the opportunity to find files by searching for tags. You can find the newest downloads in specific categories, or just leaf through them for inspiration. You can also add your own filters. You can do this at the top of the filter screen, so you will be able to use your personal filters when downloading through Spotnet.
Now you know how Spotnet works, you will be able to download your files. We recommend to use the Spotnet manual when you start the program for the first time, so you can follow all steps. After that, it’s a handy reference work in case you encounter any problems with the software.
