Spotnet is one single programme with a clear manual, which will make downloading a lot more user friendly. You will be able to download, repair and save multiple files with the touch of a button.

Spotnet manual: start by downloading the software
We can’t start explaining how Spotnet works before telling you how to download the software. After all, things will only get interesting if you can really use the program.

Before we explain how Spotnet works, it’s important to correctly install the software. We have made a concise manual for you, although most steps are quite obvious. When you have downloaded the software, you can open the setup program.

The setup of the software is very simple: just follow the next few steps in order to finish the installation. Once you have downloaded Spotnet, you can start using it to download movies, series and music from Usenet. We will explain this in detail in this manual.
Using Spotnet: how does it work?
How can you start downloading files with Spotnet? We will lead you through the process step by step. The first time you open the software, you will see a window in which you can configure your settings:

- Provider: Choose your provider
- Address: This is the server address of your provider. You’ll get this information from your Usenet provider.
- Port: Port information will be provider by your newsgroup provider.
- Connections: Choose the maximum number of connections of your subscription.
- Username: Obtained from your Usenet provider.
- Password: Same as for username, you will get this information from your provider.
When you have filled out the information, you can start downloading with Spotnet. In order to be able to do this, the software will first start downloading all new spots. As this is your first time using the program, it might take a while. In the future, Spotnet will only download new spots, speeding up the process and making sure the software is always updated. The first time, Spotnet will also download the reactions, which might take a little while as well.

When you’re looking for music, software or movies, you will get an overview of all available corresponding spots. Start downloading and the software will do the rest. How to download with Spotnet? The most important settings
You now understand the basics, but are you planning on using the program more often? We then recommend to adjust the settings to your own liking. We will now focus on the download button, updating when starting the program and filters:
- Download button
By default, Spotnet will immediately start downloading when you click a spot. The software will first download the NZB file and will then start on the binaries. Would you like to just download the NZB file and finish your download with another program? If so, you can change the settings: click ‘edit’ near the download button to choose how you want to adjust your settings. - Updating when starting
Spotnet will always start downloading all new spots and reactions when starting the software, making sure you’re always updated. Does that take too long or don’t you deem it necessary? Change the settings at ‘edit’ -> ‘settings’. Deselect the ‘updating when starting’ box. Keep in mind that you now need to download new spots yourself when you want to download a file. - Filters
Spotnet gives you the opportunity to find files by searching for tags. You can find the newest downloads in specific categories, or just leaf through them for inspiration. You can also add your own filters. You can do this at the top of the filter screen, so you will be able to use your personal filters when downloading through Spotnet.
